  • Alfalfa

    Alfalfa is the king of greens, known as the Father of foods with roots that source nutrients up to 80 feet deep. With vitamins and minerals from A to Zinc, it works as a digestive aid and assists in the absorption of calcium and protein for strong bones and muscles. Alfalfa contains chlorophyll which helps to detoxify the body and improve bad breath.


  • Annatta Extract

    Annatto extract, also known as Roucou, is a derivative of the achiote trees. The extract is produced from the reddish pulp which surrounds the seeds of the achiote. Annatto is commonly used as a natural food colorant and offers a unique flavouring.


  • Barley Flour

    Barley flour is a fine ground product derived from the milling of barley. It is rich in soluble and insoluble fibre which helps lower blood cholesterol, maintain blood sugar levels, and increase the feeling of satiety. Barley flour is also a good source of selenium, copper, phosphorus and manganese.


  • Bilberries

    Wild bilberries are excellent sources of antioxidants, are powerful anti-inflammatories, and contain flavanoids. They have beneficial uses in the eyes, digestive tract, and mucous membranes.


  • Blackstrap Molasses

    Blackstrap molasses is the viscous by-product, the third boiling, of the processing of sugar cane or sugar beets. This third boil contains the healthiest sweetener full of nutrients. Blackstrap molasses is high energy, low calorie, and an excellent source of copper, manganese, iron, and calcium. It is also a good source of potassium, magnesium and a variety of important trace minerals.


  • Blueberries

    Wild blueberries are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium and fibre. They are full of antioxidants and also contain manganese, Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine Hydrochloride,) and Vitamin K. Blueberries help to boost the immune system while providing excellent flavour and color to foods.


  • Brown Rice

    Brown rice contains all the natural vitamins and minerals found in the bran and germ layers of rice and is higher in protein than white rice. It is an excellent source of dietary fibre, complex carbohydrates, manganese, and Vitamin B. It is a good source of antioxidants, selenium and magnesium.


  • Buckwheat

    Buckwheat is a fruit seed which is rich in flavanoids and an excellent gluten free alternative. It is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and protein, contains a high concentration of essential amino acids, rich in iron and magnesium, full of antioxidants, and the aroma is very enticing to dogs. In addition, buckwheat also is a fantastic source of insoluble fibre which helps to reduce the risk of obesity, cholesterol and diabetes.


  • Canola Oil ( preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols)

    Canola oil is high in omega 3 fatty acids and high in linoleic acid which is necessary for producing a healthy and shinny coat. It is also low in saturated fats, does not contain hexane, and is low in acid compared to conventional oils.


  • Charcoal Powder

    Charcoal is readily utilized in the medical field as a poison adsorber. Its other benefits include eliminating halitosis (bad breath) due to its cleansing actions in both the mouth and the digestive tract. In addition charcoal can adsorb intestinal gases and deodorize.


  • Cheddar Cheese Powder

    Cheddar cheese powder is created by processing cheese through various drying mechanisms into a fine powder. It is extremely palatable and is also a good source of calcium.


  • Chelated Minerals

    Minerals, both organic and in-organic, are extremely difficult for the body to absorb. Chelated minerals are a digestible form of minerals that are bound to amino acid proteins that are easily absorbed by the body to provide a sufficient nutrient balance. Additional chelated minerals in our recipes include; zinc amino acid chelate, copper amino acid chelate, and manganese amino acid chelate.


  • Chicken

    Chicken is a very digestible, good quality protein source. It is extremely palatable and full of essential amino acids. We utilize only chicken that has been certified "fit for human consumption" by the USDA and CFIA, and ensure they are removed of all by-products and deboned.


  • Chicken Fat (preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols)

    Chicken fat is obtain from high quality human grade chickens and is an excellent source of essential fatty acids and omega 6 to promote excellent skin and coat quality. The fat is preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols, or Vitamin E.


  • Chicken Meal

    Chicken meal is a result of a chicken that has been fully cooked and had all of the water content, bacteria, and toxins removed leaving the purest form of protein. Chicken meal used in our diets is fit for human consumption, is an excellent source of amino acids and is extremely palatable.


  • Chicory Root

    Chicory root is a type of prebiotic and a source of Fructo-oligo-saccarides (FOS) or special carbohydrate. It acts to stimulate the growth of probiotic bacteria (good bacteria) in the digestive tract, inhibits the growth of harmful bacteria, and improves digestion and nutrient absorption.


  • Chondroitin Sulfate

    Chondroitin sulfate is a sulphated glucosaminoglycan (GAG), which is an important structural component of cartilage. It is utilized in supplemental form and added into diets for pets to aid in the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis due to its anti-inflammatory activity. In addition chondroitin aids in decreasing pain and improving function of joints.


  • Dried Brewer's Yeast

    Dried brewers yeast is a type of probiotic. It is a good source of thiamine which is required for nervous system functions, and is a mannan-oligo-saccharide (MOS) that helps to strengthen the immune system and prevent intestinal upset from harmful bacteria.


  • Dried Cabbage

    Dried cabbage is rich in fibre, abundant in Vitamin C and is an excellent source of antioxidants. It is rich in sulphur which is used to help fight infections, full of iodine for proper brain and nervous functions, and a good source of Vitamin E to keep a healthy skin and coat. Cabbage also contains detoxification effects and helps to promote a healthy gastro-intestinal tract.


  • Dried Carrots

    Dried carrots are rich in dietary fibre, minerals, Beta-Carotene, are low in calories and are an excellent source of antioxidants. They are one of the richest sources of Vitamin A in vegetables which help to promote good vision.


  • Dried Celery

    Dried celery is an excellent source of Vitamin C and fibre. It is a very good source of potassium and sodium to help regulate body fluids and contains polyacetylene a powerful anti-inflammatory. In addition celery helps to lower bad cholesterol and contains a good source of folic acid, Vitamin B1, B2 & B6, and calcium.


  • Dried Green Pappers

    Dried green peppers, also known as bell peppers, are a very nutritional vegetable that is low in carbohydrates, calories and fat. They are an excellent source of Vitamin C, Vitamin A and antioxidants. They are a good source of thiamine, Vitamin B6, beta-carotene, and folic acid. Green peppers contain a large amount of phytochemicals that contain an exceptional amount of antioxidants. In addition, bell peppers have also been known to help protect against cataracts due to the high Vitamin C value.


  • Dried Kelp

    Dried kelp is one of the most nutritious, vitamin and mineral rich vegetables found in the sea. It has a large impact on helping to regulate and balance thyroid functions due to its iodine contents. Also, kelp aids in the digestion of food, increases energy levels, assists in controlling appetite and helps to produce a shiny, healthy coat.


  • Dried Potatoes

    Dried potatoes are a very good source of carbohydrates, energy, Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, copper, potassium and dietary fibre. They are equal to corn in energy value, is almost double the protein content and contain a phytonutrient that has antioxidant properties. Potatoes that complete the drying process also increase their bioavailability of nutrients.


  • Dried Red Peppers

    Dried red peppers, also known as bell peppers, are a very nutritional vegetable that is low in carbohydrates, calories and fat. Red pepper contains a higher quantity of Vitamin C and Vitamin A than other bell peppers. They also contain lycopene, a carotenoid, which helps to protect against heart disease and cancerous cells. They are a good source of thiamine, Vitamin B6, beta-carotene and folic acid.


  • Duck

    Duck is a unique, good quality, protein source that is beneficial to the diet due to its minimal allergens. It is extremely palatable and full of essential amino acids. We utilize only duck that has been certified "fit for human consumption" by the USDA and CFIA, and ensure they are removed of all by-products and deboned.


  • Eggs

    Eggs are a source of easily digestible, high quality protein that is low in fat and calories. It is one of the few natural food sources containing an abundance of Vitamin D. Eggs are also an excellent source of iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, folate, selenium, lutein, and choline.


  • Flax Seeds

    Flax seeds, also known as Linseed, are an excellent source of dietary fibre, omega 3 fatty acids, and also contain lignans which have antioxidant properties. Flax may also decrease cholesterol levels.


  • Glucosamine Hydrochloride

    Glucosamine hydrochloride is a precursor for glycosaminoglycans, which are a major component of joint cartilage. It is added into diets and utilized as supplements for pets to aid in the prevention of cartilage degeneration and treatment of osteoarthritis due to its anti-inflammatory activity.


  • Ground Rice

    Ground rice begins with a rice kernel that has been dehulled, had the husk, bran and germ removed, and is then milled. This process is to prevent spoilage and extend the storage life. Ground rice is an excellent source of energy with highly digestible carbohydrates. It is enriched with Vitamin B1, Vitamin B3, and iron.


  • Herring Meal

    Herring meal is a result of a herring that has been fully cooked utilizing a low temperature process which removes the water content, bacteria, and toxins; leaving the purest form of protein and optimal nutrients. Herring meal used in our diets is fit for human consumption, is an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids and rich in Vitamin D. It is farmed exclusively from North Atlantic Herring, two years of age or younger.


  • Iron Oxide

    Iron oxide occurs in nature and is the result of iron being exposed to oxygen. It is used mainly as a source of iron and a natural pigment. Iron is the main constitute of haemoglobin, enhances oxygen distribution, keeps the immune system healthy, and helps the body produce energy.


  • Lamb

    Lamb is an excellent source of highly digestible, quality protein that is low in saturated fats. It is an ideal source of iron, is rich in selenium, and is an excellent source of zinc. Lamb is also a great source of thiamine, niacin, and B vitamins. The lamb used in our diets is certified "fit for human consumption" by the USDA and CFIA approved facilities. They are also removed of their by-products (feathers, feet, head, entrails), and are de-boned.


  • Lamb Meal

    Lamb meal is a result of a lamb that has been fully cooked and had all of the water content, bacteria, and toxins removed leaving the purest form of protein. Lamb meal used in our diets is fit for human consumption, is an excellent source of iron, zinc, B vitamins, and is extremely palatable.


  • Mysis Shrimp

    Mysis Shrimp is rich in EPA, DHA, and is rich in omega 3. Many of the benefits include; aiding in brain development, regulating heat, improving the skin and coat quality, and providing a source of energy. This freshwater shrimp is produced in Canada.


  • Oat Flour

    Oat flour is the end result of oat groats that have been grinded and milled to produce fine ground flour. Oats are an excellent source of dietary fibre, thiamine, iron, Vitamin B, and antioxidants. They help to reduce cholesterol levels, control blood sugars, and help to stimulate the immune system.


  • Oatmeal

    Oatmeal is the result of oat groats that are coarsely ground. It has high amounts of complex carbohydrates and water soluble fibre which encourages slow digestion and stabilizes blood glucose levels. Oatmeal is a good source of both insoluble and soluble fibre which aids in reducing bad blood cholesterol. In addition oatmeal is a good source of Vitamin E, zinc, selenium, copper, iron, and is high in Vitamin B.


  • Organic Blueberries

    Organic blueberries are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium and fibre. They are full of antioxidants and also contain manganese, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) and Vitamin K. Blueberries help to boost the immune system while providing excellent flavour and color to foods.


  • Organic Carrots

  • Organic Cranberries

    Organic cranberries contain moderate levels of Vitamin C, dietary fibre and manganese. They also contain D. Mannose, a sugar substance, which prevents harmful bacteria from attaching to walls of the mucosa. Arbutin is also a content of cranberries which is effective against fungi and certain forms of bacteria. They may also aid in health of the urinary tract.

    Organic peas are packed full of nutrients and are extremely palatable. They are a good source of protein, iron, potassium, Vitamin C, and a high source of magnesium. Peas are also a great source of fibre which aid in digestion and reduce cholesterol.


  • Organic Sweet Potatoes

    Organic sweet potatoes are an excellent source of complex carbohydrates that are rich in antioxidants and contain anti-inflammatory effects. They are an excellent source of Vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene, and a good source of Vitamin C and Vitamin B6.


  • Organic Turkey

  • Papin

    Papain, also known as papaya proteinase, is a cysteine protease enzyme found in the papaya plant. It has a mild, soothing effect on the stomach, aids in protein digestion, and is used to breakdown tough meat fibres for digestion.


  • Parsley Flakes

    Parsley flakes are a rich source of antioxidants, an excellent source of Vitamin A & C and contains high chlorophyll content. It is commonly utilized as a breath freshener due to its neutralizing effects and is highly palatable.


  • Pea Flour

    Pea flour is produced by roasting yellow field peas which enables a greater access to the proteins and starches of the pea plant. The flour produced is extremely low in calorie and low in fat.


  • Pea Starch

    Pea Starch is a grain free alternative in the diets. It acts as a binder to make the food stronger and hold all ingredients together when baked.


  • Peanut Butter

    Peanut butter is full of vitamins and minerals, but most of all is extremely palatable. It contains high quantities of dietary fibre that helps to regulate blood cholesterol and blood sugar. In addition it is high in protein, Vitamin E & B3, iron, magnesium, calcium, copper and potassium. It is also a source of antioxidants due to the high quantity of Vitamin E. Peanut butter also contains a natural antimicrobial, Resveratrol, produced by the peanut plant to remove potential pathogens.


  • Peas

    Peas are packed full of nutrients and are extremely palatable. They are a good source of protein, iron, potassium, Vitamin C and a high source of magnesium. Peas are also a great source of fibre which aid in digestion and reduce cholesterol.


  • Peppermint Oil

    Peppermint oil is utilized in the treatment of indigestion, respiratory problems, headaches, and nausea. Most commonly, due to its anti-septic properties it is utilized in dental care with removing halitosis (bad breath). It contains omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin A & C, along with magnesium, iron, calcium and potassium.


  • Pork Liver

    Pork liver is extremely palatable, low in calories, and a rich source of iron. It is an excellent source of Vitamin A, all B Vitamins, Vitamin C, and copper. It is one of the few natural sources of Vitamin D. The pork used in our recipes are certified fit for human consumption.


  • Probiotics: Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086

    Probiotics are natural, live micro-flora enzymes and beneficial bacteria that aid in the digestion process. They restore and create balance of normal gut functions and allow for a better absorption of nutrients. For our treats we use Bacillus Coagulans GBI-30 6086 as our probiotic. This type of probiotic is a spore-forming probiotic bacterium, where the spore protects the genetic material within the cell from the heat and process of manufacturing. It increases the shelf life and is bile acid tolerant. Once in the intestinal tract the spores are able to germinate and produce new cells to help improve the immune system and support digestive health. The benefits of this probiotic strain include; providing benefits to both the small and large intestines, producing L+ lactic acid to replace non-beneficial bacteria, is non GMO, and is proven safe and effective through AAFCO approval.


  • Pumpkin

    Pumpkin is often recommended for digestive problems due to its high fibre content. It is antioxidant rich and full of beta-carotene. Pumpkin is also an excellent source of potassium, zinc, Vitamin A and Vitamin C.


  • Pumpkin Seeds

    Pumpkin seeds, also known as pepitas, are an excellent source of protein, fibre, zinc and iron. It is a good source of Vitamin K, copper, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. They also contain phytosterols, found in plants, to help reduce cholesterol levels.


  • Rolled Oat Flakes

    Rolled oat flakes are the end result of a whole oat that has been rolled into a flat flake under heavy rollers. This process ensures that the oat provides a full nutritional value without the loss of key vitamins and minerals. Rolled oat flakes are an excellent source of dietary fibre, thiamine, iron, Vitamin B and antioxidants. They also help to reduce cholesterol levels, control blood sugars, and help to stimulate the immune system.

  • Sage

    Sage, also known as garden meadow, is a very unique plant offering both medicinal and culinary benefits. It contains the chemical substances thujone, camphor, cineol, rosmarinic acid, tannis and flavanoids. Together these substances offer antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral effects.


  • Salmon

    Salmon is an excellent protein source that has low allergy content levels for canines. It his high in protein, rich in omega 3 fatty acids, high in vitamin D, rich in antioxidants, low in calories and highly palatable. It is also a great source of selenium, niacin, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, phosphorus and magnesium. We utilize only salmon that has been certified "fit for human consumption" by the USDA and CFIA, and ensure they are removed of all by-products and deboned.


  • Sardines

    Sardines are a high quality, high protein fish. They are low calories and fat and packed full of vitamins and nutrients. They have a high concentration of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which contributes to a healthy skin and coat, and have anti-inflammatory actions. Sardines are also high in calcium; a good source of Vitamin D and Vitamin B12, and are also a low allergen to dogs. We utilize sardines that have been certified "fit for human consumption" by the USDA and CFIA.


  • Sunflower Oil

    Our sunflower oil is cold pressed to ensure no valuable nutrients are lost. The oils are rich in Vitamin E, which is a potent anti-oxidant and is essential for cell formation and growth. It is also a source of Omega 6 Fatty Acids and linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid, to promote healthy skin and coats.


  • Sunflower Seeds

    Sunflower seeds are an excellent source of Vitamin E, which contains powerful antioxidants and has significant anti-inflammatory effects.     Venison is an excellent source of highly digestible, low allergen, high quality protein that is low in calories, cholesterol, and saturated fats. It is extremely palatable to animals due to its unique flavour. It contains a high source of iron, and a good source of Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, riboflavin and niacin.   • Wheat Flour

    Wheat flour is a finely ground product derived from the milling of wheat. It is an excellent source of dietary fibre and antioxidants, along with a good source of calcium, iron, selenium, manganese, and magnesium.


  • Wheat Germ

    Wheat germ is the reproductive part of the plant that is separated during the milling process. It is a good source of dietary fibre and protein. Wheat germ is a concentrated source of Vitamin E, folic acid, phosphorus, thiamine, zinc, magnesium, and essential fatty acids.


  • Whitefish

    Whitefish is an excellent protein source that is low in calories and fat. It is a good source of omega 3 fatty acid, iron, and an excellent source of Vitamin B.   • Yucca Schidigera Extract

    Yucca schidigera extract, also known as Spanish dagger, is a small flowering desert tree.
