23 03/12 Darford's ZERO/G helps our hero, K9 Lakota
Our dog K9 Lakota was hurt in an accident back on Oct. 3, 2012 answering a home invasion call. Him and my husband are a lucky to be alive. K9 Lakota suffered 3 broken legs and massive internal bleeding. The county he worked for retired him and left us with the bills. When the story made the news a local athens pet store heard the story and contacted Darford and they now supply him food for life. Dear Darford & The Plus One Movement. "We appreciate everything that Darford has done for us, we have had a very tough last few months and it has been a HUGE help! We are so pleased with the quality of the ZERO/G dog food and all the dogs on it are doing wonderfully! Their energy is great, skin and coats doing well and all are tolerating well GI wise...we recommend to all our bulldog network and adoptive families! FOREVER HOME GREYHOUND ADOPTIONS has been feeding Darford Zero G for about 6 months now. The difference in condition of our dogs is profound. Some Greyhounds have trouble digesting certain grains. Wheat and corn seem to be the 2 main culprits. Foods containing significant amounts of grain are known to cause gas, and diarrhea. Since we have switched our Greys to Darford Zero/G dry dog food, their coats are shiny and soft, weight is no longer an issue. Our dogs are fit and trim, but not hungry. I have 9 dogs at my home right now, and I have gone from collecting 9 large bags of waste weekly...
